In the year ending June 30, 2010, EU clothing imports fell in value to their lowest level since 2006. In volume, they fell to their lowest level since 2005. Also, the average import price fell after rising a year earlier. Imports were also down from each of the top ten supplying countries, namely China, Turkey, Bangladesh, India, Tunisia, Morocco, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Pakistan. China continues to be the EU?s largest clothing supplier.
