This report provides vital data and analysis of trends in the US clothing import market. The report also focuses in greater detail on clothing imports into the USA from ten key supplying countries, namely Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, El Salvador, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. In 2013 US clothing imports rose in value and volume to a record high. During the first quarter of 2014, imports also increased in value and volume. China remained the USA's largest clothing supplier in 2013, but its share of US clothing imports from all sources fell in value. US clothing imports from China rose but imports from Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and Vietnam grew much faster. By contrast, imports from Cambodia, El Salvador, Honduras, Indonesia and Mexico rose only modestly or declined.
