Textiles Intelligence is proud to announce a successful first year for Home Textiles Update

Textiles Intelligence is proud to announce a successful first year for its monthly e-bulletin Home Textiles Update. The publication was launched in January 2012 in response to growing demand for new coverage of the home textiles industry and has been received positively by industry leaders.

Home Textiles Update provides information and commentary on the newest innovations which will help to shape the industryincluding developments in the fibre, yarn, fabric and finishing sectors. It also reports on up-to-date news of business operations in the market as companies launch joint ventures, form licensing agreements, expand and invest, change their manufacturing facilities, and acquire or divest businesses.

During its first year, Home Textiles Update included information and analysis on a wide range of companies and product developments. The industry's growth is being driven by innovation in fibres, yarns, fabrics and finishing treatments. And some companies are developing pioneering bedding products to better satisfy customer needs.

Furthermore, environmentally friendly fabrics are being developed and used to manufacture a whole range of products. Companies are increasingly implementing recycling programmes in an attempt to reduce their impact on the environment.

Acquisitions, joint ventures and licensing agreements are enabling companies to expand their geographical footprint and increase efficiencies in their supply chain. Such measures also provide them with new strategic capabilities, operating synergies and market opportunities.

Commenting on the success of Home Textiles Update, the director general of the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF), Christian Schindler, said: "While there are many local and international textile publications, Home Textiles Update offers a very specialised service for anyone working in home textiles. It provides timely and well summarised information on new home textile products as well as on the international home textiles markets. The bulletin is keeping people from the home textiles industry well informed on a monthly basis allowing a better understanding of changes and developments in this market."

To celebrate the first anniversary of Home Textiles Update, Textiles Intelligence has introduced a special offer for a limited period only.
